Peter Christian wins the “Oscar” of catalogues – ECMOD best brand award

Every high street used to boast a traditional gentleman’s outfitters, they were bastions of masculinity smelling of tweed, leather and furniture polish. You were guaranteed excellent service and good advice based on years of experience, shopping for clothing was a pleasure. The Estate’s resident sartorial guru, Nick Alderton mourned the loss of these high street outfitters and established Peter Christian to continue this tradition online. The hard work of his talented team has borne fruit as they have recently been victorious in a very prestigious award ceremony.

“The award means a lot to us, it proves that men do appreciate an outfitters with individuality and character. We have been careful to recruit only people with a love for traditional menswear and natural aptitude for customer service and it is great that the talent and hard work of my excellent team has been recognised.”

Peter Christian have claimed this year’s Best Menswear Brand at the  ECMOD awards; the online and catalogue “Oscars”  held this year’s at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in West London. Sky news anchor Dermot Murnaghan handed the award to the team who fought off stiff competition from huge brands such as John Lewis, Boden and Charles Tyrwhitt.

Peter Christian

Its always fantastic when the diligence of small, highly skilled, family business is recognised and we are so proud that Peter Christian have had their hard work and passion brought to the attention of a much wider audience through these awards.

On a personal note, and without undue bias, I can confidently say their Twitter and Facebook feeds are fabulously entertaining as well….Check them out here if you are in the market for some classically designed, stunningly well made clothes…Well Done to all at Peter Christian!

Perfect Visions Ltd

We have been receiving a number of calls and letters from concerned members of the public checking whether the above named company operates from our Industrial Estate.

We can categorically confirm that they have been fraudulently using our address on their website and we have NO knowledge of them at all. Also, they do not appear on the register of Ltd companies at Companies House.

They are not a tenant of ours, they do not have (and have never had) a unit here and we cannot vouch for them.

We have duly reported them to Companies House for being in breach of the Companies Act and to Action-Fraud and Trading Standards for fraudulently using our address.

Whilst we cannot comment on the legitimacy of their operation, we would offer a few words of caution to any consumer:

1) Never pay for a retail transaction by bank transfer

2) Always check you can contact the business directly if you want to buy from them – especially if they are not a name you recognise

3) If in doubt, walk away.

Spring on the Industrial Estate

Monday, March 24th, 2014

Spring is trying its best to launch on the Industrial Estate.

Bulbs are pushing through, buds are growing and everything is a degree more lush and green than it was a few weeks ago.

We have recently engaged the services of a tree surgeon for some of the more unruly trees around the estate. He has been very busy in recent weeks thanks to the horrendous weather of December and January, but he will be with us twice a week until the job is done now. This should further improve the light and  look of our surroundings.

If you have any comments or feedback on how we can make sure our estate continues to be a lovely environment to work in, please do send us your suggestions – sam.mackley@mackleyindustrialestate.co.uk or call on 01273 495450
